Join Vince Gumbs, Penn’s Supplier Diversity and Inclusion Manager and Marcia Wallace, Supplier Diversity Program Manager at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as they present “MythBusters – Demystifying Procurement with Anchor Institutions.” 

The session will explore preconceptions that exist related to doing business with large institutions.  Attendees can expect to gain an understanding of how to effectively navigate the procurement process of anchor institutions, leading to successful completion of work. Additional insight will be offered from diverse suppliers who have successfully found ways to work with large companies.  

This virtual session will be held on Wednesday, October 4 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Advance registration is necessary.  It is brought to you in conjunction with the City of Philadelphia for Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week.
